HUE IMPERIAL CITY BY NIGHT
  • 18:00, our guide will come and see you at your hotel, take a soft walk to a local hub to try some specialties such as Nem Lui (spring roll), bánh Bèo (Beo cake) & bánh Nậm (Nam cake). After having a light meal, we continue with our walking tour to discover Hue Imperial city by night. Walking slowly through the night market, situated by the south bank of Perfume river, to the Phu Xuan bridge and take a cross over the river to the north area.  Entering one of the gates of the Imperial City and stop in front of Ngọ Môn Quan (the South gate of the Citadel) for a while, the magnificent beauty of the Citadel at night will surely make you jaw-dropping. Spending around 1,5 hours for walking inside to learn about the history and chances to witness the shows performing the daily life in the old days.  After visiting the citadel, continue to explore Hue cuisine with Banh Khoai (Pancake) at Thượng Tứ Gate, one of 10 entrances to the Citadel. Indulging yourself a bit more with delicious dessert called Chè Huế (Hue sweet soup) before walking back to your hotel or stop by a bar for some bottles of beer on your discretion.

The Imperial City of Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam, will open to visitors starting from April in order to allow visitors a more relaxed experience.

The Imperial City of Hue is a walled palace located in central Vietnam’s Hue City which served as the capital of Vietnam during the reign of the Nguyen dynasty between 1802 and 1945.

The site is a popular tourist attraction, and has been recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Heritage Site in 1993.
