Day 1 . Bkk –Paro Arrival-Thimphu Over night in Thimphu
Reception at the Airport in a traditional way by the Agent in Bhutan. After reception drive to hotel for short rest & Lunch. Then after Lunch we visit the following historical places in Paro .
Paro or Rinpung Dzong is a huge fortress in Bhutan. It is the venue of the annual Paro festival which attracts the highest number of tourist during the season. The fortress houses the Monastic Body and administrative offices of Paro District. Some scenes of the film “Little Buddha” by Hollywood Director Bernardo Bertolucci were shot in this fortress.In this fortress there are several temples , we will visit all the temples. There will a monk in each temple to explain us , and we have our guide also to explain you .
.Ta- Dzong (National museum of Bhutan):
Bhutan’s one and only museum houses the ancient treasures of the kingdom. These artifacts represent Bhutanese culture and values, and are the source of the Bhutanese identity. Nothing introduces Bhutan better to the outsiders than a visit to this museum.
This monastery was built in the year 1433 by the famous bridge builder in Bhutan called Thang Thong Gyelpo , its believed that this temple is build on the head of demoness who was causing illness to the people in and around the locality .The temple has a unique architectural design .
After visit to the above sites , we then drive to Thimphu the capital of Bhutan which will take us an hour to reach Thimphu and visit the following monastery en-route to Thimphu , which will take us about 30mins of time .

Tamchoe Lhakhang : The Monastery is a spectacular & picturesque monument which is located on the way to Thimphu across a bridge where we need to walk for 5 mins approx ,from here we take a photos with a Tamchoe as scenery spot. We visit the monastery and hear the tale of the monastery from the caretaker & owner of the temple . After visiting the above temple ,We then drive to Thimphu , we reach Thimphu , check in our Hotel Rooms, if we have time ,we will visit the following places,
Day 2: Explore Thimphu
Early Breakfast in the Hotel .Then we will drive out for the Hike to the following very important Monasteries, which will take us 30mins to reach the road head & another 2 hours to reach & return to the road head from the two monastaries ,the way or foot-path leading to the monastery is very good .
After the visit of above we again head back to Thimphu , en-route to Thimphu we will visit the following
We now drive back to our hotel rooms. We will serve milk in the dinner time .Overnight in Thimphu
Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha
Early Breakfast , We now drive to Punakha which will take us 3 hrs to reach there. We will visit the following places en-route to Punakha .We will have a stop over at Dochula pass for a coffee.
Dochula Pass : Dochula where 108 nos. of stupas are built by Queen mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck, a pass that is located at an altitude of 3,100m is perhaps the only spot where one can see the Eastern Himalayas in a spectacular 360 degrees. It is here that a grand new festival has been introduced besides which the place is known for a plethora or flora and fauna.
Day 4 :Punakha – Thimphu – Paro
Early Breakfast , after breakfast we head back to Thimphu and our next destination is Paro, we will visit the following en-route to Paro.

Day 5 : Paro – Taktshang Monastery ( Tiger’s den ).
Early breakfast , we drive out which will take us not more than 30 mins to reach the road head where we will begin our hike to Tiger’s den . It will take us over 2 hours to reach the monastery up -hill but the walking trail is good , for those who can’t walk can avail the riding pony.
After finishing visit to the above ,we return to the hotel for rest and then we have a cultural show to rejuvenate our mind & body after a day’s up hill walk , we end our tour with a glass of milk , and overnight in Paro .
Day 6: Hotel – Airport- Bkk.
Breakfast ,after breakfast we check out from hotel & drive to Airport for boarding the plane . At the Airport the guests are seen off by the agent in Bhutan with a souvenir from BHUTAN, thanking them for visiting BHUTAN , Bye .
