DAY ONE: ASIA’S HAPPIEST COUNTRY

Paro (alt. 2400m/7218ft) - The beautiful valley of Paro encapsulates within itself a rich culture, scenic beauty, and hundreds of myths and legends. The flight to Paro is considered one of the most spectacular flight experiences in the world.  While flying in and out of Bhutan, one can see Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makula. Further, other high peaks such as Jumolhari, Jichu Drakey, and Tsrim Gang, are visible during the ride to the hotel.

Thus, Para and Thimphu are the best places to be introduced to Asia's Happiest Country.

Overnight in Thimphu: Namgay Heritage Hotel www.nhh.bt

DAY TWO: SHARE. EXPLORE. CONNECT.

This day will begin with our first formal "Type-A Breakfast," where we will do a full day's work in two hours, working side-by-side in silence.

Then, after taking triips to stunning local nunneries and beautiful markets, we will have a sharing session with Bhutanese business leaders and students to learn more about the business climate in Bhutan, as well as their mindsets towards entrepreneurship and startups.

DAY THREE: THE VIEWS OUTSIDE AND INSIDE

This day will begin with a "Type-A Breakfast," where we will do a full day's work in two hours, working side-by-side in silence.

Next, we will visit several natural and religious phenomena exclusive to Bhutan, such as Punakha (1300m/4265ft) with its suspension bridge spanning 160 meters, and the Dochula Pass (3150m/10,000ft), with its panoramic views of the Himalayas, and also

In the evening, we will visit a traditional farm house for an experience of authentic Bhutanese lifestyle and local hospitality.

DAY FOUR: INTO THE MOUNTAIN

This day will begin with a "Type-A Breakfast," where we will do a full day's work in two hours, working side-by-side in silence.

We will then visit the Lamperi Botanical Gardens (47 sq. mile botanical park), before arriving in Paro. There, we will explore the ancient town and havie a group sharing and meditation with a ranking lama.

DAY FIVE: UP THE MOUNTAIN

This day will begin with a "Type-A Breakfast," where we will do a full day's work in two hours, working side-by-side in silence.

After our breakfast we take a short drive then hike to a beautiful Yak pasture where we camp below Bumdra Monastery (3,800 m).  The first one to two-hour ascent of a shady, forested ridge brings us to a clearing with prayer flags and stunning views down into both the Paro and Do Chhu Valleys, full of bursting meadows and ancient forests. It is a truly breathtaking day.

Your camp for the night is tucked away just under Bumdra Monastery (Cave of a Thousand Prayers) and offers unimpeded views of the Himalayan ranges. After lunch we can visit the monastery and also climb the peak to the north (about 4000 m) for even better views, returning in time for a very good dinner at your camp and take rest

Overnight: Camping

DAY SIX: TIGER’S NEST

This day will begin with a "Type-A Breakfast," where we will do a full day's work in two hours, working side-by-side in silence.

Elevation: 2,280m

After a hearty breakfast, it is time to either head straight back into the valley or spend a little extra time enjoying the view. Eventually we have to drop back into the ancient pine and rhododendron forest on the monks' zigzagging trail.

After one to two hours of descent we catch glimpses of the golden roofs of temples below. The path snakes across the mountainside between these monasteries before reaching the gardens of Zangto Pelri (Heaven on Earth) from which you can, if you are brave, peer over the edge, straight down onto the ornate rooftops of Taktsang Monastery perched against the cliff-face far below.

An hour later and we are across the gorge from Taktsang Monastery. Follow a steep descent to a waterfall then go up for 10 minutes and you'll reach the Tiger's Nest. Retracing our steps we begin the final descent of about 45 minutes to Paro Valley floor to reach our vehicle from where you will be transferred by road to your hotel in Paro.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

Fly back to Bangkok after breakfast. Take with you the amazing experience and see how much you've been transformed!
