This is a special Trip for Adventure Lover! not for normal tourist.
It promises a great experience to spend time outdoors to inhale the fresh air, the quite space in the middle of city, smell the lush vegetable fields on Banana island, be charmed by the flowing Red River.
Having the opportunity to insight into the local life in Hanoi in off-the-beaten-track route.
Off-the-beaten-track route
We meet you up at Hanoi Old Quarter then we head first to Long Bien Bridge on the Red River (depart morning or afternoon)
“Long Bien Bridge was completed in 1902 when it was one of the longest bridges in Asia. A beloved Hanoi landmark, this cantilever bridge provides stunning views across the Red River if you are adventurous enough to brave the potholes. Formerly named Paul Doumer Bridge, Long Bien Bridge is mercifully closed to Hanoi’s notorious car traffic”. Continue cycling along The Red River, we have the opportunity to see the way of life of people.

Insight to local life
At first, we stop at a open fields and bonsai garden. Here, we spend time learning more about agriculture, cycling among open green fields, meeting people going about their daily life, from farmers working on their fields and gardens to children riding a bicycle to school and even daily chores such as shopping for grocery or communal gathering.

Visit a local temple by Red River bank
We take a visit a local temple, which is located by the Red River. By good luck, we have a chance to see a unique ceremony of Vietnamese people –“ Len Dong” or “ Going into a trance”. This ceremony is very interesting, and unique to foreigners.

Taste a local drink on Red River island
Time is spent for a short break in our journey. Together we enjoy some local drinks such as beer, coconut juice, sugar cane juice right in a local family living in an open green farms. After that, we make our way back to the city. Trip ends.
After the trip, we would like to say: "You are champion!"

(17/11/2018)It was amazing. We loved going to the countryside where it was quiet and we could see how the local people lived. Jenny was a great tour guide too, she gave us an insight to the local people's lives, and made us comfortable as we went around with her in the busy parts of Hanoi. Highly recommend.

(04/07/2018)This experience was amazing!!! Jenny was so sweet and her English is great. She has created a truly unique experience for a tourist that is more educational and immersive than the average tour. We loved riding around the city on bikes, seeing the surrounding areas of Hanoi, and stopping for a beer on banana island. It was very illuminating to meet some local people and see their innovative way of life. This trip is definitely a “must do” if you are in Hanoi!

(31/10/2017)This tour was the highlight of our stay in Hanoi. Jenny is very knowledgeable of Hanoi's history and felt very safe alongside her when we had to ride through crazy Hanoi traffic. Loved our visit to the countryside and temple we rode to and was lucky enough to see a special performance at the temple. We loved seeing how the Vietnamese people lived out in the countryside. Would thoroughly recommend doing this tour with Jenny
