Today, city tour of Hanoi includes Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the 11th Century Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda.  In the afternoon, visit Temple of Literature - Vietnam's first university and then explore local life in Ancient Quarter by an exclusive walking tour. Water puppets show in this evening- a unique art of the Tonkin. Second night in Hanoi (B).

Today, visit Duong Lam ancient village, known as a museum of surviving laterite with ancient houses aged up to 400 years old. Visit Mong Phu temple, Mia pagoda and enjoy a home- hosted lunch at a ancient house. After lunch, drive along a mountain road to the Western Tonkin which is home to the Muong and Thai ethnic minorities. Arrive in Mai Chau, visit Lac and Pom Coong villages inhabited by the Thai at the foot of the mountain. Finally, transfer to Mai Hich village; meet with local family and settle in a beautiful wooden stilt- house. Dinner and overnight at Thai homestay (B, L, D).

Today take a hike to Buoc village on a flat road along the Na Lum River, passing through several Thai villages as well as agricultural fields where corns, vegetables and rice are grown. Arrive in the village at noon. Lunch at a Thai family. Back to homestay and spend the rest of the day exploring the village at your leisure. Dinner and enjoy a Thai traditional dance show performed by local villagers. Overnight at Thai homestay (B, L, D)

After breakfast, travel to Tam Coc- so called “Ha Long Bay on land”. Visit Hoa Lu, a former Vietnamese Royal city. Then short drive to Thung Nham valley for a 2-hour boat trip from Linh Coc pier and visit But Cave. Overnight in Tam Coc (B)

Morning depart Tam Coc for Halong, through the Red River Delta. Embark a traditional junk for your two day cruise to explore Halong Bay with its incredible limestone rock formations. Lunch served on board while sailing inside the picturesque bay. Visiting a floating village and free time for relaxing on the beach and kayaking. Overnight on board (B, L, D).

Today you continue the cruise through Halong Bay passing many beautiful spots. Disembark at noon and you are transferred to Noi Bai airport for your evening departure flight (B, L).
