Head to Cu Chi Tunnels and admire the peaceful scenery along the way
At 8:00AM. We will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city before heading to Cu Chi Tunnel for 60km from Saigon.
Along the way to Cu Chi from Ho Chi Minh city, we will pass by the scenic local countryside, where you might even spot ducks and buffalo cooling off in the river. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction and damage that once dominated the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was "a free target zone."
Explore the cu chi tunnels
Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti - American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220 km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreigner.
The famous Cu Chi tunnels are a network of underground tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City. The tunnels were used as a military base for resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War and often used as hiding spots or spy activities.
Lunch at local restaurant.
3:00PM. Arrive Ho Chi Minh city. We take you back to your hotel.

We had the pleasure of having Jackie guide us on the Cu Chi Tunnels tour and I gotta say he was one of the best tour guides I have ever had on a tour. He was very knowledgeable and friendly plus, as a war veteran he presented a unique perspective that you don't get with a lot of other guides. A fact that you can plainly see when you see the respect with which he is treated at the site. If you're going to do this tour then consider no others. Do this one and make sure you get Jackie.

If you are a first timer to Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi Tunnel is a must. To add mirth and merriment to your experience go engage VIP tour from Vietnam Adventure Tours. We got this one of the kind tour guide, Jackie, who served in the South Vietnam Navy during Vietnam war. Went to Cu Chi was like immersing in the war itself but with full of light hearted moments. I really do not know how to explain it in words. He is old, full of passion and funny stories from the war to the many tourists he met in his tour of duty as a tour guide. Got to give it to the old man as our tour today was different from the rest of those bus-load tourists.

Henry was really helpful! On the way to the CuChi Tunnels we chatted about places to go on our holiday and he is happy to help us with a 14 day tour when we comeback to Vietnam next time☺️ He knew plenty about the Vietnam War, his tour was very educational and fun! Henry took plenty of photos for us so we can take our memories back to Australia! Thank you, Jacko & Loz

Did the half day tour of Cu Chi tunnels with Vietnam adventure tours & really enjoyed it. Our guide Fa gave us lots of historical info during the bus ride out there. Much of this info was gleaned from his relatives who had first hand experience of living in the tunnels during the time of the Vietnam war, so probably closer to the truth than generic info. His English was great & you could also ask questions about anything. He was unbiased & told both sides of the story. Highly recommend this tour, thank you Fa for the history lesson & sharing some of ur family stories. Don’t skip the tapioca tasting at the end - it’s actually quite nice
