Vy (pronounce as letter "V") is my name. I am working in Sai Gon and have been staying here for almost 8 years. I work as social worker who organizes and facilitates voluntary projects in the south part of Vietnam. As the characteristics of my job, I have the chance to meet a lot of friends from all over the world who came to Vietnam as international volunteers. One of the most important part in any voluntary program is introducing to my friends about the local things at the places which includes culture, history, pagoda, food, lifestyle, stories, ... so that my friends are able to engage and understand deeply about the place they choose to come. And for me, traveling is not only sightseeing on the surface, shopping at the mall but also get to know well about what is the local life, to deep in it, to say "wow", to have strong impression at the end. That is the most important thing to enrich our experiences and make us open mind more.

Saigon, the stories hidden behind
  • When you go to a new place, what is the most interested thing that you would like to gain at the end? That could be nice photos with the beautiful landscapes and famous tourist sites. It is the taste of the local food that is in the "to try" list. And the most important thing is traveling like local. The travelers can understand deeply about the local place so that they can make the strong connection. Travelling for me is about connecting and understanding. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. For me that is the main element to make any trip be successful. Understand that, I would like to bring all the most local experiences to my tour. Therefore, I try my best to design my tour, not only the meet the basic demands of travelers as above but also to attach along with the hidden stories of any places you come and any food you taste. I hope that after the tour, you are not only satisfy with the dynamic Saigon,  but also the impression of its history.  Let discover Saigon with me in just 1 day!
