I am a Saigonese, born and bred. I have been living in Saigon for almost all my life, but this city has never failed to amaze me. It is true that when you live in the Mekong Delta, you learn how to swim to survive. But if you are in Saigon, you learn how to...cross the street, from the basics. Observe, keep and adjust the pace, and be confident. That is just how we do it, in a Saigonese way.

School-day off Reminiscence
  • Have you ever wondered how it is like to be a Vietnamese student? Okay, we go to school everyday, burying our heads in those cold books and calculations, joking with friends and do other things you can think of. But what if...you don't feel like going to school at all? The outside world is so captivating that you feel like it is a waste just to be at school. Then, we will take you to a short trip to escape from the madness of schooling life. Take a relaxing walk on some of the most Saigon-esque streets, visit some “must go” places, enjoy some of the students’ all-time favorite snacks, and do it like a local student!

Snack Time!

Take a bus to one of the “youngest yet oldest” schools in Saigon in the afternoon, and explore a so-called “paradise of street food” nearby. Street food is an indispensable part of our school life. You will have a chance to enjoy some of the food that every single Vietnamese student tries at least once in his or her entire school life. Fill yourself some energy up for the walk!

A Walk to Escape

Burn your calories through a walk to some of the most romantic but busiest streets of Saigon and explore the stories behind them. Relax, watch the life, and enjoy the beautifully calm view at Bach Dang Wharf. We will also visit some “must go” places of students along the way. Finally, as we conclude the trip at the 30/4 Park, a surprise will be given to you. Hint: a genuine taste of Vietnam!
