The Death Railway is what most people who visit Kanchanaburi come to see. With great Historical significance. Built by the Japanese where their forefathers mistreated huge numbers of POW's to build the Railway line across Thailand.

Sai Yok Waterfall and the Dam

Sai Yok Noi is a waterfall in the Tenasserim Hills, Sai Yok district of Khanchanaburi Province, near the small town Nam Tok Sai Yok Noi. It is the most popular attraction of the National Park. It is popular among domestic and foreign tourists alike

The hills protects the park from eastern monsoon resulting in less rainfall in avarage.

The major attraction of the park is Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds, named after the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble the elephant's head.
