I have been working in the hospitality industry for almost 10 years, including serving in a restaurant, standing behind the bar, and currently planning for MICE groups staying at 5 stars hotels in Hanoi. At the same time, with a group of friends, we have founded Vietnam Adventure Riders. Together, we have been riding all across the Northern Vietnam and found many beautiful places and get to know daily life of minority people. Now, I realize it is my dream to share our experience with worldwide riders. We will help to plan your unforgettable trip. With a bit of luck, you will also find your answers that you have been searching for. If not You then Who? If not Now then When? Kawasaki Estrella 250 - Ride in Style

One of the most easy to handle and comfortable for a long ride.

Thanh Son tea hill

Before we go, let have breakfast with a bowl of “pho,” a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup which already made its name in the world culinary map. Once the tummy is filled, we will go along highway 32 toward Thanh Son Tea Hill

Khau Pha Pass

We will stop at the peak of Khau Pha pass, one of the Big Four Passes of the North West, which all adventure riders want to conquer once. The peak of Khau Pha pass is around 1200 - 1500m above the sea level, with 30km of tight turns. “Khau Pha” in Thai minority people’s language is “sky-high horn” referring to the peak rising from a sea of clouds.

Mu Cang Chai

Right after Khau Pha pass, we will visit La Pan Tan raspberry fields, Mu Cang Chai, where we can see the most stunning terraced rice paddies.

Last check point for day 1 at Mu Cang Chai homestay for dinner with local grilled food: meat skewers, Pa Pin Top fish, minced meat wrapped in leaf, and forest vegetable soup

O Quy Ho pass

After checking out the water mills near Mu Cang Chai homestay, the group will continue the trip to conquer the longest and most dangerous route of the Four Big Passes. The group will stop at the top of O Quy Ho Pass. “Heaven Gate.” From here, we can have a clear view of the whole majestic Hoang Lien Son mountains

Research Institute for Marine Fisheries

11:00, we will take a lunch break at the Research Institute for Marine Fisheries. This is where you can choose fresh salmon for lunch. What can be better than salmon freshly caught and prepared for your hungry stomach after a long ride. You should try the delicious salmon congee as recommended by many visitor

Y Ty

70km toward the north of Sapa is Y Ty village, Bat Xat commune, where Ha Nhi minority people inhabit in their old-fashioned grass roof houses. Y Ty is well known with Nhiu Co San and Lao Than mountains, also Ngai Thau peak always covered in a sea of clouds.

Ta Van

15km away from Cat Cat village, passing Muong Hoa valley, is Ta Van village. Enjoy your free time until lunch

Sapa - Fanxipang

After lunch, we will go back to Sapa, get on the Sunworld train for a trip around the valley, then hop on the cable car waiting to reach Fanxipan peak, the Roof of Indochina, 3304m above the sea level
