Dapa Island

Dapa Island, have you heard it before? Probably not. It is located in the middle part of the Philippines and probably you can see this island on Google Map. A two hours boat ride from San Andres Quezon with our very own island boat or 'bangka' in Filipino. It is a rocky island compared to the usual island you see where it is full of powdery sand. A good place to capture a different selfie from its different rocky formation. Just don't forget to bring your shades as the sun lights up. Truly an amazing place and unforgettable opportunity.

Sombrero Island

Sombrero island comes from the word "hat" or "sombrero" in Filipino, because it is literally an island formed by a hat shape. It just 30 minutes away from Dapa Island. It is a good place to chill and relax as tent pitching is allowed in this island. Taking a dip is must thing to do here because of its white powdery sand beach that would make your day amazing. At the evening, experience fresh seafoods cooked by our very own local. Also, a perfect place for star gazing with friends at night. Just don't forget to charge your power bank as electric is a major problem here. Nonetheless, it is a bucket list for every travelers out there.

Animasola Island

An hour away from Sombrero island is another famous island called Animasola Island. Although this island is not your usual a must swim place but it shares an equal beauty. It is famous with its rock formation where every traveler in Burias Group of Island must have a picture. At the middle of the island is a small flat hill where you can try your climbing skills in getting to the top. Just be careful because the soil might get slippery on rainy season or powdery on dry season.

Tinalisayan Islet

Discovering the romantic sand bar on the south of Luzon is worth your experience as sand bars are rarely seen. A new experience to those who prefer non-commercialized beach. As of now, only a few have unexploited this islet.

Alibijaban Island

ALIBIJABAN. Say that again – A-li-bi-ha-ban. Pronouncing its tongue-twisting name is a struggle the same as going to this remote island. This island is another place located in Quezon Province and it is not part of the Burias Group of Island but since it is along the way going back to the mainland we can have a short trip, takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there via 'bangka'. The island is a small fishing village dominated by mangrove trees than the fishing folk in terms of population. Its coastal formations include sandy beaches and rocky shores, particularly in its northeastern side. This is the last destination in our trip but one thing is for certain – falling in love with this quaint island is a thousand times easier than saying its name.
