Playa Tamarindo

Tamarindo Beach is part of a bay and part of Guanacaste's Region. Playa Grande lies to the north of Tamarindo inside the bay. The two beaches are separated by Central America’s largest mangrove estuary, Estero de Tamarindo and Playa Langosta, part of Las Baulas National Park.

Las Baulas park is named for the giant turtle nest sites. Night tours are available from September through March, If you are lucky, you will be able to view female turtles digging her nest and laying eggs. 

Also enjoy the waves by taking up some surf lesson or renting a surf board.  

Nature's Walk Tour

Take a trip down to Volcan Arenal for a day. Prepare yourself for a minimum of 4 hours drive. Trekking time to the the peek of the volcano is 2 hours. Scenery is nice when it's not raining. If traveling during July-August, don't forget to bring a raincoat.  Finish your night at the hot springs. There are a a numerous of hotels along the way that offer this facility. Next morning take a trip to see the beautiful waterfall, La Fortuna. Those that bring a swimming suit can enjoy a swim in the water stream. Lastly, take a guided hanging bridge tour in the rainforest, across 15 suspension bridges, which measure up to 100 meters long and 70 meters high. 

Night life!

Tamarindo is known for it's popular night life. Prepare yourself for a weelky regular scheduled nightlife. 

Every Monday, it's ladies night a Aqua club. On Tuesday enjoy the groove at Sharky's Karaoke night.  On Wednesday, another Ladie's night at Pacifico beach club. On Thursday, relax on some Reggae-ton music at Pacifico's Beach club. On Friday's have a crazy night at Crazy Monkey's. Why not take a break on Saturday and do a bombfire on the beach. Sunday after a Saturday break get ready for a Sunday Funday.  The Tamarindo Beach & Pool Crawl leaves every Sunday at 1:00PM from Sharky's Explore the hidden pools, beaches and resorts just outside of Tamarindo. Then head back to Tamarindo after the sun sets. Finish the night with a game of beer pong at Sharky's make sure to sign up early with your teamates.
