About the Grandma (the host) She was born and grew up in Nghe An which is the hometown of Ho Chi Minh (Uncle Ho – our great president) in North Central Coast of Vietnam. She has 3 children: one lives in Taiwan, one lives in Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh city) and one lives in Da Nang. Since one of her daughters lives in Da Nang and has small children, she moved to Da Nang to live with them and helped them to look after their children. For a foreign person, nothing is more difficult than getting familiar with a new place, a new culture. She have not really been in that situation, but she can partly understand how hard it gets. She thinks it will be a great honor for her to share her cooking tips with all of you, and help you to gain more knowledge about Vietnamese cuisine in the most local way. Come to her home to find your best experiences ever in Vietnam.
