Queuing for breakfast with Banh Khot
Surprising? Why do I have to queue for a breakfast? The answer is simple: just give it a try. This popular restaurant serves only one dish called "Banh Khot" (a cake with rice & shrimp) and it's always full of foodies, especially young people. Because of its finger-licking taste, people can stand in queue to be served.
Time: 7h30 to 8h30am

Enjoy the climbing up to the mountain of Jesus Christ
Here it comes the most amazing thing at Vung Tau. Have you ever seen a statue of Jesus Christ of 32 meters long on a mountain? You will have to do a little bit of climbing (1000 steps) before arrived at this Kito statue on the top. Along the way there are many smaller statues and some shelter. Once you arrived at the top, the view is breathtaking & spectacular. From here, you can see the whole city of Vung Tau. That's the moment you fall in love with my city. That's the moment you forget everything in this life. Just breeze.
Time: 8h30-11h

Lunch time with traditional Vietnamese dishes
I bet you wanna spend the whole day staying on the mountain, but it's lunch time now, buddy. Today I want to introduce traditional dishes of Vietnam called "Com Nieu" (the rice cooked in the small pot). At the very first taste, you will feel how delicious it is. All dishes are popular daily meal of Vietnamese, cooked with love & care. Rice, vegetables, fresh water fishes are main ingredients for a meal. Because it's so good, don't take too much or all you want to do then is just a nap
Time: 11h30 - 14h
A visit to the residence of the last King of Vietnam
Back to old time when Vietnam was a French colony, this building - called Bach Dinh (or White Place) was built for Governor-General of Indochina. The house was for weekend relaxation. After 1934, it was reserved for King Bao Dai & queen Phuong Nam. Located on the Big Mountain, the way up to Bach Dinh is so romantic. Today, the house is still an attractive plate to tourists because of its own values. Tourists come here to see old things that the King used in his daily life, to see the giant cannon, French General's bedroom and a beautiful museum inside. Come here to find yourself inner piece.
Time: 14h30 - 16h00

Seafood at Vung Tau, what is different here
The trip could be ended after visiting Bach Dinh. I strongly believe, to some extent, you have fallen in love with this city. But let me give you a great suggestion: Seafood for lunch
Being a seaside town, Vung Tau revolves around seafood. You can have dishes cooked or just use raw seafood. But I promise, you can find no where such delicious seafood like here. The restaurant named “Ganh Hào” is highly recommended. You can find all types of seafood here, all is delicious but not expensive. The grilled lobster is so good. The steamed squid is, oh my God. Just tell me, what is more interesting than having lunch by the sea with breeze. Life is beautiful, trust me.
