Hello travelers! Welcome to Jakarta. Thank you for visiting my city. My name is Sheila. I was born here, was raised here and up until now, I still live in this capital city of Indonesia. One of my passion is in tourism industry. Everytime I visit a country, it is my hope to experience living like a local. Hence, through this platform, I hope I can provide that kind of experience for travelers visiting Jakarta. Highlights: morning run or briskwalk in National Monument park or a visit to traditional wet market, local cuisine and street food (including a must try Indonesia sweet thick pancake, known as martabak), public transportation experience (TransJakarta, angkot, bajaj and train), and batik shopping in the biggest textile market in Southeast Asia. This is a private and flexible trip. Usually the trip starts at 6AM and there's no fixed time schedule throughout the trip. There are highlights to see/experience but along the route, usually there will be changes adjusted to travelers interest/curiosity.
