Born in Cordoba, Spain, to a Polish father, I got my first reflex camera from him when turning 18 a Soviet Zenit. In 2000 I moved to Madrid and studied a two-years certificate program, Higher National Diploma on Image Management, at the CEV´s School. Right after, I got a position as photo assistaint in an advertising photo studio shooting large format cameras with digital backs. On hollidays I took the Agency Cover´s Workshops for reportage in, Cádiz. I re-discoverd photography and decided to apply to the ICP School in New York. I was accepted for the One-Year Certificate Program on Photojournalism and Documentary Photography in 2004. Once graduated I started shooting “El Árbol del Ritmo” which is a long term documentary project on ethnomusicology. Since then I have been exploring an anthropological approach to folk musics around the world. Now I live in Nicaragua and run a Responsible Tourism Agency in Leon promoting #slowtours experiences.
